The Future

Print is here to stay as a marketing medium

Techies and IT gurus have been forecasting the demise of print for the past 20 years. Our growing business clearly proves that well designed and precision targeted print continues to deliver outstanding marketing results.

Yes, businesses and organisations are using new means of communication to attract customers. We recognise this and have introduced new services like Touchscreen Information Points, E-Alerts and Bluetooth (please see our Premium Services section for more details).

However, print remains the first choice of most people when they want to receive information, ideas and helpful advice in easy-to-access and convenient ways. It also remains one of the most cost-effective ways to reach audiences and customers with minimum wastage and maximum impact.

Independent research has shown that print continues to outperform IT media when it comes to converting initial customer interest into hard bookings and business. This is because leaflets, posters and brochures provide a strong call to action that can’t be matched by more passive, less targeted IT communications.

Scotland’s leading tourism and arts bodies clearly recognise the marketing value of print and we are delighted to have recently secured a new contract to store and distribute over 5 million leaflets and brochures over the next 2 years for a consortium comprising VisitScotland, Historic Scotland, Scottish Parliament Corporate Body and National Trust for Scotland.

Add to this the 1¾ million leaflets and brochures we distribute for the Edinburgh Festivals and Fringe each year and it’s clear that print is still the most effective and popular way of letting potential customers and audiences know who you are, where you are and what you do

At EAE, we constantly review and refine our services to help clients reach their target markets. Client feedback is key to identifying market trends, new outlets and new opportunities. We understand the need to deliver outstanding value at times when marketing budgets are under pressure.

Thanks to the support and help of our clients, we've developed and grown over the past 25 years. We plan to continue growing for the next 25 years.
